Anyone recommend a good supplier (in UK) for fences suitable for ACW use, or any methods for home made ones?

Cheers, Dave T.

Timecast only do 'traditional' fences, not snake fencing: http://www.timecastmodels.co.uk/range_37/37_005.jpg
Products for Wargames do 15mm: http://www.productsforwargamers.com/whf_page3.html, but knowing Jim, he could scale down...

Irregular Miniatures have some pretty ones.

Hi there Dave
I've got a guide on my site on how I did my American Civil War snake fencing, I hope it helps.

Very nice Andy. I like the idea for base coating the cocktail sticks.
Sadly no longer with us - RIP (2018)

Excellent tutorial, thanks for this and the supplier ideas from others.  I like the idea of using the first board as your template.

The fields will be niceley edged in no time!

Try Langton Miniatures from their 10mm ACW range - nice buildings as well

I do something similar, but with matchsticks (the ones with no heads) rather than cocktail sticks. They're cheap to make. :)

hi, baggage train do some really nice ones in resin, they are a little more expensive than DIY but i didn't think they broke the bank.
