That's the Panhards based now, took slightly longer than expected. Started the 3 X FV107 Scimitars.

Started on the Scimitars, put them together and given them a black wash to lift the detail.

To my eyes....That's worked extremely well.

Look nice as a force. The bases a little thick for my taste but I like the material used on them. Getting more tempted by these figs the more I see them!

Finished the first Scimitar, couldn't make my mind up what colour scheme to use. Looking at images from the Falklands (most of which seem to be grainy b & w reprints and photo copies!) I couldn't work out if they used the black and green cam pattern or if they were painted just green. Loitering around some of the IPMS forums I noticed that many of the Scorpions were done in just plain green. So for the first one I've gone plain green. If anyone knows which paint job I should use could they let me know, thanks.

These are lovely models - tons of detail. My compliments to the sculptor.









And next up are a bunch of SAS firing M16, half way there to my Pebble Island scenario British forces.

Love the Scimitar. Always loved that little beastie ever since I met one trundling up the A303 from Devizes. Goodness knows what he was doing there!
