Pendraken's Gnomes worked hard to send me a large order of figures, including this Hamilcar Glider. It is a big beast, as you will see in comparison to the German Sd. 222 Armoured Cars. I painted it for D-Day, with the black/white recognition marks on wings and body. I think the underside should be black. But I'm not worrying about it.

It is a monster and I think I have one stored somewhere in the attic from years ago. Nice oaint job but where is the tail section? I'd love to see a pic of the whole thing :).

Yes, I thought it looked a little truncated. I know the Horsa glider could split to allow easy egress, but I thought the Hamilcar loaded from the front?
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

This is all I got in the package. I took a look at some aerial photos of landing zones and found that aircraft were missing all sorts of bits. So I guessed that this is it. There is no nose section either. Anyway, I'm satisfied.

That's all that matters :). However it looks like you are missing bits which Leon and Dave are normally more than happy to replace. Worth contacting them?
