Nice one Steve ;) This AVBCW seems to be taking off fella!
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

10 more commando's done - Two man PIAT team, two man sniper team, two man 2" mortar team, a spotter/FAO/rupert with Binos and three HQ riflemen.

Got a couple of hours in on my mates's terrain last night, three buildings done! Just one box left to do, about two dozen little buildings...  :o

Hi Nosher,
yep, I think we are all really taken by this 'what if?' period. The next game is part of our mini-campaign, details of which can be found below. So far the Kings forces have been stopped to the East of Bristol at Keynesham, but have made inroads into North Somerset after their minor victory in the MadFest game.

More details to follow.

By God, Gentlemen, the Abyssinians are done!
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

The Socialist Battalion are all done bar the flocking etc, which I hope to start tonight. Then on to some armoured support with a bit of luck.

More progress which is only being halted by the sh*t weather of late and being able to find a window in which to do some more undercoating.

Vickers team, mortar team, medic, Rodney with pistol, and another piat and light mortar team done.

Reinforcements arriving this week ;)

Just spent 3/4 of an hour not painting terrain! First time since September! Pity it was just repairs to stuff for a Flames Of War competition this weekend!  :P

Final squad of ten Bolt Action Commando's finished and the whole forces beret's touched up with the paint that arrived today. :) :) :)

I have now officially caught up with my Bolt Action projects  :-bd- everything that was undercoated is now painted and I am awaiting a day warm enough  ~X( to get outside and undercoat some 'reinforcements' including:

The last few Commando's to make up my headquarters unit, a couple of universal carriers, a MMG Carrier , a Cromwell, a Churchill, a Hetzer, a Sdkfz 250 with 20mm autocannon, a Pak40 and crew and a couple of squads of Kraut infantry, an MMG and a mortar unit.

I am at the club tonight and its likely that if our resident 'stall holder' is present I could be 'convinced' to part with some more hard earned to flex a bit more Allied Muscle... ;)

Oh ye of little willpower :d :d :d

Two hours last night saw the start of my December and Christmas holiday project as I sorted and assembled the 1870 Guards Voltigeur division for Volley and Bayonet/Black Powder.  :D

Well as I am locked away in my office working overseas I have had plenty of time to paint over the past three weeks and it has been quite productive.

60 French Napoleonic Infantry
3 Saxon Napoleonic Mounted Generals
3 French Napoleonic Limbers
62 Flames of War Hungarian Artillerymen
60 Ancient Spanish Infantry, for a Carthaginian Army

All in 15mm and all just painted, waiting until I go home before I base them.

Check out my blog

There are a few pics of the progress.

I have another 3 weeks at work so hopefully will finish the pile I brought with me....

So where did I put my bag of purchaser from Warfare?
I've looked for an hour tonight, tidied everywhere and just can't find them anywhere, except two packs of zouaves that must have fallen out previously!  :'(

Either they will turn up when I'm not looking for them or Leon and Dave will be making another £60 from me!
