Oh I have to have this!

Loved the computer games, have 1000s of 1:1200 scale fighters and the full WoTC plastic version from mid00s, but this really looks cool!

Is it worth the money? Id say yes if your into Star Wars. The game is quite easy to understand theres a download on FFGs for the main rulebook if you havent been there and had a look at it. Me personally i like Empire Strikes Back, battle for Hoth but i dont know if this will be in the pipeline. I can see this being played at all the shows as well but i wouldnt want to transport the mnis especially the x wing fighter.

Played it for the 1st time in the pub on saturday afternoon, it was great fun. Even though I am not a Star Wars fan I would definitely recommended it.

I'm not so sure of the cost, but i'm not a huge Star Wars fan, the guy at our club that I played is and is intending on buying lots.

As a game it's wonderful, we got 2 games in at club on a monday night as beginers and it plays really well, will be a brilliant demo game. You select an order (on a disc thing for the craft you're using) Moves are done using thick cardboard cutouts so no fiddling about with rulers and then shooting with mechanics that are really easy to pick up.

A very simple game, but the dogfighting aspect of the movement is the bit that will keep it interesting game after game.

Ive bought a box set and all the expansions and its fantastic fun- weve had a few multi player games at our games nights and everyone has enjoyed it. To me they took everything good about Wings of War and improved it tenfold.

Tempted to buy another starter set at Warfare, but dont tell the wife!

Yes its worth the money. The starter box is very good value. Although you are paying around 10 quid for the expansion sets, you do get a lot of cards and counters in the packs and its all very high quliaty stuff.

Its amazing fun.

yes the Imperials can win and do. So far we have played about 6 games and I think its 3 all. I do think there can be a slight balance issue though, it seems to me that as a Imperial player you do beter going with numbers over quality. Games where the Imps have loaded their ships with top pilots and upgrades have been ones where they have found the going much harder. Some of my gaming group disagree with my view though, so read into that what you will.

I've got it sitting upstairs as my present to myself!
