I have noticed that this is the quietest time on a normal day for the forum...
Mrs Lemmey & I walked along the canal to the Globe Inn, a local waterside tavern for a pint, which gave our 4 month old time to nap in her pram.
What did everyone do this week? 

I went and watched Musselburgh Rugby Club firsts beat local rivals Haddington.  Had a couple of pints during the game and I'm now cooking tea for the children.

Went to look at a house to rent.  Close to the station and with a room big enough to take a twelve foot by six foot table.   Definitely on the cards.

Fed and cleaned out the chickens, cleaned out the guinea pigs, mopped the kitchen and dining room floors, hoovered the front room and polished and dusted downstairs.

Cracked a beer and watched the France/Wales Rugby league

Did some DIY that has been on the cards for a long, long time, then started on a promised bespoke mirror frame for our daughter. After that a quick tidy up of the garage and a bit on the garden. Kept the kids out of the way of SWMBO who is not feeling too well at present. All in all a fairly routine Saturday. Now getting ready to watch Merlin with the family .

Watched Tottenham vs Chelsea on box, watched Star wars episode 3, waiting for the boxing to come on featuring local lad Kell Brook. Think i need to get out more!

Laundry, swept the floors, nursed a wee hangover, then watche Chunichi beat Yomiuri in the baseball.

Drove down to St Ives for a week's holiday

A lot of the afternoon involved shoveling horse poo, and then feeding all the other animals.
Such an exciting life.

Actually did a bit of painting, which is a bit of a change. Hopefully more progress tomorrow.

As I am on nights I slept all afternoon. Got up had breakfast about 1800.  Quckly put some varnish on some 10mm Polish fron Sinister Bend Miniatures, so they will be nice and dry for basing tommorow morning.  then went to work.

Actually doing a workshop to young (and less young) people to teach them how to use spray paint (not only). We have a project to decorate some panels outside the youth center of the town.

Went to the local wargames show, Skelp, and spent my cash on Dystopian Wars, rules and a French fleet. Didnt really have an option as it was my clubs show, then spent an hour being ridiculed by Leon because of my new Panda character in World of Warcraft. I count that as a Saturday afternoon well spent. Look forward to a new range of Kung Fu Pandas, all named Gordon.
