After all that posturing, gloating and swaggering like a meglamaniac by Bubba Watson its really quite sweet to see the US Golfers being served a very big portion of humble pie.

There's not too many good things to come out of the EU, however our Golfers did Seve proud.

And did my old ears deceive me, or did I hear that a member of our esteemed forum beat Mr Woods to win the cup outright for Europe.
(Actually I think he halved the match....but that was good enough.)

What a result! I was suprised to hear the result this morning given the massive lead the Americans had. As they said on Radio 4, just one more team for contention for Sports Personality of the Year award.

It was the chant from some Europeans to departing US fans that made me chuckle: "10-6 and you f*cked it up"
