Now with all those lovely 'Falkland' figures in modern gear with SLRs, it would be very useful to have an open Land Rover - perhaps in 22 SAS mode with GPMGs and kit.
Very useful for all the wee bush wars we are going subject these figures to.

Hopeful Sunray

Dat be a SWB one - the panther is LWB. Similar ones used by all airmobile Infantry for many years for the Recce pltoons.

Yep - needs to be open with folded screen and no side windows.
That gives basis for the the PP, recce, and Mobat/Wombat carrier......

So - Wombat, Mobat, 106 rcl.

Agree with Ian.  The classic LWB 110 reccy Landrover appeared first as a MkII - It was NATO/European regs that prompted the boys at Sollihull to shift the headlights from the grill to the wings.  The old grill was great for a barbicue!

The Lightweight airportable is also a viable option. very popular in its day. - now it  the 90 series minus doors and with a raised passanger seat (for GPMG gunner) that is the airborne version.

Possibly the Mkii LWB open top with folded screen would give the best model sales wise for the tabletop gaming market.

Hi Sunray

The first LWB will have the screen up and doors windows like SWB then I will do the variants first 2 soft and hard top then airborne ,ambulance even snatch for NI are all on the non 110 landrover,s You will be able with the airborne versions drapped in cam net, to do Danish(recoiless or tow) Australian Recoiless, SAS pink panther the list is quite long
Question 1 on Airborne variant who wants them covered in Cam Nets already?
2 Do you want an Ambulance?
3 SWB with either Tow or Recoiless

Let me know thanks
Martin

1. Both would be nice, but if only one rarient then without please, it's easier to add camo than remove it.
2. YES! I mean yes please  :D
3. Both of course ;)

Cheers,

Kev
