God Bless Elizabeth II :)

Whatever you're doing to celebrate the Jubilee - enjoy ;)
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

It would be way cooler seeing HM actually holding the weapon and firing it - although it'd probably snap her shoulder like a twig...

She's older than my mum, so likely to be a bit fragile.... Mind you, she's probably used to using a shotgun to shoot at poachers at Balmoral...:)

Ah, my ancestor is still number 4 on the list.
  Amazing story, he ended up fleeing to the Americas at the restoration, and disappeared, only to reemerge to organise the defense of a colonial settlement during one of the Wars with King Phillip. His brother James (whom my grandfather was named after) is missing from the list, he was also a regicide, very influential.
Up the republic.  8)

Oh course my grandfather was a massive teller of tale and lies!! Recently my uncle has undertaken massive research into the family tree and it's complete rubbish that we're related!  :'(
But it's a great tale!  ;)

What though the zealots pull down the prelates,
Push at the pulpit, and kick at the crown,
Shall we not never once more endeavour,
Strive to purchase our royall renown?
Shall not the Roundhead first be confounded?
Sa, sa, sa, say, boys, ha, ha, ha, ha, boys,
Then we'll return with triumph and joy.
Then we'll be merry, drink white wine and sherry,
Then we will sing, boys, God bless the King, boys,
Cast up our caps, and cry, VIVE LE ROY.

What though the wise make Alderman Isaac
Put us in prison and steal our estates,
Though we be forced to be unhorsed,
And walk on foot as it pleaseth the fates;
In the King's army no man shall harm ye.
Then come along, boys, valiant and strong, boys,
Fight for your goods, which the Roundheads enjoy;
And when you venture London to enter,
And when you come, boys, with fife and drum, boys,
Isaac himself shall cry, VIVE LE ROY.

If you will choose them, do not refuse them,
Since honest Parliament never made thieves,
Charles will not further have rogues dipt in murder,
Neither by leases, long lives, nor reprieves.
'Tis the conditions and propositions
Will not be granted, then be not daunted,
We will our honest old customs enjoy;
Paul's not rejected, will be respected,
And in the quier voices rise higher,
Thanks to the heavens, and cry, VIVE LE ROY.

Do not forget John Cook - the only lawyer brave enough to put the case against the tyrant Charles while the rest of the bar fled London

Of course on the restoration was hung, drawn and quartered
