Some time ago, Clibinarium considered doing separate heads for AWI, with peculiar headwear, to allow people do head swaping.

I think, that separate pack of heads in different headwear would be also nice in LoA range.
It could include different grenadier bonnets, and also - early form of tricorne, not fully turned up but rather informal, just like here:

I was amazed and pleased when I saw the seperate headgear in the AWI casualty pack; would be awesome if Pendraken could repeat this masterpiece with the LOA range   

Brilliant idea, but could someone please tell me wat 'AWI', 'LOA', and 'ACBVW' (or whatever it is) are?

A lot easier to do on 28mm than 10mm, I think. 

Its something I am certainly giving thought to for the grenadiers, since there are lots of different styles of hat. My current plan is to do each pack of grenadiers in a different hat, eg, the first two packs had one in a short cloth mitre, another in a short fur one. Then perhaps do a sprue of variant hats for those who want to tailor their grenadiers. The idea being they all come with heads on  for those who don't wish to fiddle around with separate heads. Those who do would have to decapitate and drill the bodies, which while its something I do without thinking much, would be very fiddly for most gamers. However I am assuming that anyone willing to buy separate heads would be willing and able to wield a drill.

Pendraken should add drills to it's offer ...

Could be a good idea for Leon's Minibits.

For me drilling is OK.
But one important thing - I need whole heads, not headgear only. I'ts generally easier to cut off the head at the neck than to remove a broad brimmed hat.
Of course, separate headgear could be released also.

And please, Clib, do some "early tricornes" !!!

Yeah, definitely something I could look at further down the line.  Got some other products to get to first, but I'll add drills to my little list.

If you ever get to stock 'bits' for drills/pin vises (?) etc.....

1. No, heads could be done simultaneously with figures, I'm pretty sure that Clib uses such pre-cast parts to make his sculpts.
2. It depends on oncoming cavalry - if Clib does heavy horse in full cuirass and hats, with packs of heads in lobster pots one could be able to convert them into Austrian cuirassiers immediatelly.

Why would you want to go to so much trouble when one will presumably be able to buy the complete figure in both versions? There is already an Austrian/Bavarian cuirassier in the WSS range, come to think of it.
