Many yonks ago I spied a unusal sight in the wonder beverage works of Greene King,  It were a Marmite Tanker, asking the driver of this intruder on to hallowed ground his buisness for being there.  He were taking away the spent malt n yeast from the wonder brew of Water, Malted Barley, Hops n Yeast.   Just think, I could be spreading  GREENE KING's ABBOT, IPA or BEST on my toast. The best part of a pint on a slice.

We used coke to scrub the barrels of (tank) guns after firing on the ranges.  Pour the coke barrel, scrub and leave for 15 to 20 mins while having a brew. It great for removing spent cordite. But leave the coke in too long and it could start pitting or rust  the ballel.
No one wants to behold an irrate gun fitter blowing a gasget, because you left the coke inthe barrel too long.

I hate to think what it's doing to our stomach-linings if it can shift cordite...  :o

It's great stuff! When I was working in a metal shop we used it as a degreaser and to loosen corroded bolts! Worked like a charm :D

I always thought that was an urban myth, so it realy works?

What about the urban myth of leaving a tooth in Pepsi or Coke overnight...and it completely dissolving ?
Anybody tried that with one of their offspring's baby tooth offerings from under the pillow ?
Sounds a load of you know what to me  ;)

another way to test that is to take a mouthful of coke (without swallowing) just before you go to sleep and see if you have any teeth left in the morning

No doubt its high sugar content and acidity aren't good for teeth, but then again orange juice probably isn't either.

Do you think Pepsi have a skunk-works somewhere churning out all these rumours?  ;)
