Woohooo!!!! Finally, after many years of wanting one, I`ve gone and got myself my very own snake. This little beauty is just over a meter long and is aparently a bit of an escape artist (having once escaped for a year into the local sewers). Its still a baby pretty much, and I can`t wait to get my hands on it *visions of having it draped around me 24-7 are careening through my mind" mmmmm.*

It`s being driven over to me as I write....  can`t wait.

Cool, we'll be expecting some pics of that!  You do realise though that you can't unleash it on your 10mm Dungeon, I can't imagine the kind of stats that would require...

Don't have any snakes left myself. I'll stick to the poison dart frogs and tarantulas.

Rat snake is a pretty broard sweep, any idea which species? Prob' either a Elaphe or Oreocryptophis species.

I've just remembered we had a couple of snakes for a night back before Xmas.  Jenna works in a hostel, and one of the residents dumped them and left, so she had to bring them home after work.  They were quite happy on the dining room table until Dave tried to pick one of their boxes up by the lid...  Cue rather surprised snake on the carpet, and a rather more shocked Dave just staring at it...
