Soviet and German

Designed to fit nicely on N-guage track.

I believe they are imbedded in some long request thread; if they are on the list please add a vote.  Would not need to be a lot of cars, just enough to be representative.

I've popped another vote down for them, they're pretty far down the queue though.  Is there anything already out there in N-Scale?

This wouldn't have anything to do with the current splurge in Wargames Illustrated would it?

I must admit I'd rather have them in 10mm.

If you used a multi-period approach to this you could make some generic models. I think the trains used in this request would be the same as those used in the WW1, RCW and Russo-Polish War. The carriages/trucks might also be the same with only a few period specialities required. They would also be useful in other areas such as the Boer War and Mexican Civil War.

Dragon had a small line in their Can-Do kits range, half a dozen years ago, but they have become very hard to find. 

Otherwise, unless you want cardboard, there is naught out there that I can find.

Here in North America it's has even to find mid-C20 european-style rolling stock - a simple, short, flatcar or a Peco chassis kit -- to start from.  And the UK train hobby industry is not the pay-pal friendly, internationally oriented organization that the miniatures business is.

Doubt it - roughly 150 Trains at a guestimate, used from 1914 (ok 1900 if you include Boer War) to 1980's - yes 80's

To take two modrn Tanks - Cent - Korea, Suez, Arab Israli, Indo-Pakistan, Viet.....M48 - all of those except Korea and Suez.

I think that with the BOER WAR RANGE, you can do a pretty nice armoured Train. Locomotive and Tender are perfect for wwI or RCW games. And most of the cars are also very usefull.
I plan to ask for some of the references, but with WWI russian crews.
