Can't find the following anywhere. Could substitute BT7's for the BT5 , but the other two are

BT2
T37
T40

T26 with twin turrets. These can be either 2 MG turrents or they converted somne 400 to 1 MG turret and a 37mm in the right turret.

Greetings

Depends when you want to use the armour for.

T37 is a reasonably useful vehicle for Winter War, Poland, early Barabarossa with around 1200 built - not sure many T40s were actually built and you could perhaps proxy a T60 for these as they apparently had the same chassis.

BT2 about 620 built and not sure how many employed in 1941.

Twin turret T-26 - about 2000 produced 1931-33 - again not sure how extensively used in combat.

For me the tricky thing about early Russian armour is that characteristic bronze disc in the middle. Painting that, while getting my brush around the shield, and not smudging the mailshirt the boyar is wearing underneath it, is quite a challenge. The other typical Russian armour, that quilted caftan, is a doddle, however.

Of course you shold be refering to T54 and PT-76, not those strange things.

For T-26 varients look to the Vickers 6 tonner and 7-TP. CV-33 is a possible substitute for some of the others.

I'm afraid the T-40 is nothing like the T-60. it's  a mini-t34 I suspcet. Very few built - on cost grounds.

THink the BT-2 had gone by 41 - may be upgraded to 5 or 7 ?

Hi

Put my hand up for T-27 tankette, about 2500 made, used up to 1941/42 and then used as artillery and ammunition tractors.

Cheers

T40 is Mg armed amphibious recon tank. 200 used in early war and defence of Moscow. replaced by T60

450 twin turreted T26 's had the 37mm gun in right turret.

BT2 wanted for Invaion of Poland / AVBCW

T40/T41 was an experimental tank similar to T34 which was produced in preference

That'd work, we've got the Vickers with the twin turrets on it: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/IW1-p6217/

No - T40/41 was an experimental Lt tank which looks like the T-34, and cost almost as much.

Also a near carbon copy of the original Carden Lloyd carrier. Plenty of use in small wars in the late 30's.
