Ironclad is back!

We've spent the last few weeks building up some stocks and we are very pleased to announce that the Ironclad ranges have been added to our website and can be found here.

These ranges cover scenery and terrain in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm, as well as 28mm metal miniature ranges, including an excellent Victorian Sci-Fi range.  All produced in either high quality resin or white metal.

There are a few products missing images, but we'll get those added very soon.

And to head off a few potential queries:

Have the prices changed?

Yes is the short answer, and for two reasons:

1 - John had only put his prices up once in almost 20 years, so virtually everything in the ranges was under-priced, some more than others.  Looking at some of the costings as we've been building the stocks, I can see how much he's struggled to make a living from it.
2 - We're VAT registered and John wasn't, so that's an immediate increase that we can't avoid.

Across all of the ranges, the price increases have averaged out to around 30%, with the majority of that being VAT.

Is everything available?

Almost.  We've uploaded everything to our website aside from the Steam Tanks, which need a bit more training from John to ensure that we're putting the right parts in each model.  Everything else is up and available to buy as normal.  We've got some stocks of John's best selling ranges, but we will need to cast to order for the first few weeks while we get everything else built up too.

Can I buy these in your shop?

Eventually, yes.  We'll get the initial flurry of website orders dealt with first, and then we'll start filling the shelves in the stock for people to walk in and buy.

Will there be any new releases?

Yes, definitely.  We've already found a dozen or so new metal items that were never released, so we'll be getting those moulded up asap.  There's also a few resin items by the looks of it, but we'll need to check with John as to what the plans were for those.  And he's also agreed to continue making new items too, both for the Ironclad ranges and for our own Pendraken 10mm lines.

And that's it I think!  There's some really cool items in these ranges so head over and take a look: https://www.pendraken.co.uk/ironclad-miniatures

Ahhh, these are wonderful! Luckily - for me & my bank balance - I no longer do 28mm. I hope these sell really well for you.

The photo you've used for the large craters just makes them look like dog poo.

We do need to update some of the images!  All of the painted examples are in John's personal collection so he's going to bring those up for us to take fresh photos of everything.

Like Raider, I'm pretty safe, being a dedicated follower of 10mm. However, I can see that it's a good move for Pendraken.

It would be great to see some of these re-scaled to the proper size. :)
