We are delighted to announce that we've reached a deal with John to acquire Ironclad Miniatures!

Founded by John Lowen in 2005, Ironclad Miniatures has extensive resin scenery ranges in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm, as well as 28mm metal miniature ranges, including an excellent Victorian Sci-Fi range.

For the last decade or so, John has been producing all of our 10mm resin products, as well as modelling new ranges for us, to cover the ACW, Peninsular Napoleonics, Eastern Front, and more.

After two decades in the industry, John's decided that it's time for a well-earned rest.  We'll be doing our best to keep him busy though, as he's agreed to continue making new models for us!

As anyone who has bought from John will already know, he has always produced excellent quality products and we'll be working hard to make sure that we continue to keep those high standards.

John will be running a 'Retirement' sale on his website from the 31st Oct to the 9th Nov, before turning his website off, so make sure to head over and grab anything you need before the ranges transfer over to us.  We'll be driving down to south Wales at the beginning of December to collect everything, and we should have it all up and running again ready for the new year.

It's a shame, because John was always keen to attend some of the smaller shows and I've been able to buy various bits off of him before he got around to adding them to the website.
On the other hand, if he wants to retire (semi-retire?) I can't think of a better team to take over than Pendraken!

That's excellent to know that Ironclad will be in good hands. 👍

They do some really nice stuff.

Great news! I especially love their trenches - which actually work surprisingly well for 10mm

Yeah, I only recently discovered them, and their 28mm Boxers are really nice sculpts.

Iron clad is a nice range, and as John is continueing to produce items for the range this excellent news.

If only we could get Outpost Miniatures back into the UK....

I think those are all over the place now.  Badger Games (?) in the States took a lot of the 28mm ranges, some guy down south got the 15mm stuff, and Rob at Reiver Castings (brother-in-law) has kept a few ranges to add to his own.

Very late to the party but this is great news! I'll definitely put in an order when it becomes available on the page, I've bought from Ironclad before and was planning a big order when I heard it was all going to Pendraken!

I'm starting to compile my shopping list for the Ironclad VSF miniatures, now I see that you're casting them up ready for the mid-February launch date — at least I presume you're casting, or was what I've seen used in our Back of Beyond campaign from the spares pile? (which is a possibility).

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"
