We have a buddy thing already, is there any chance we can add the opposite, an ignore or block function?

There is an ignore function under the profile- I think

Be careful what you wish for. You may ignore them today, but they may be well versed in the period that you need help with tomorrow, and this is a wargaming forum.

As a general comment, I find it sad that the world seems drawn to the extremes and dialogue is shunned rather than engaged in a positive manner.

To recap: this is a wargames forum. If we're going to disagree, it should be about the wisdom of the Tiger tank, the effectiveness of scythes on chariots or the longbow vs plate armour debate. 

Yes- I put fsn on ignore when he was being  an arse- that was before I  came to realise he  was really harmlessly  pink and fluffy with a Centurion obsession

You still see that somebody posted, with a button to open the content if desired.


I find it useful to mute the streams of "painted fifteen epaulettes" stuff.
It helps me focus on the more relevant (to me) and interesting conversations.

The precise wording of the block is "You are ignoring this user. Show me the post".
"Show me the post" being a button to open the content.

I use it to block the "edgy" woke idiots.

 I used to work for the Ordnance Survey and the dull and ignorant  can get really wearing after a while
