BCW site and Regimental Wiki to return

Some good news on the BCW site front.

Evidently the site data and content has been saved from deletion and the BCW and regimental wiki will be returning via a new site in due course. No time frame has been given yet, but that's great news for W3K players like me  :-bd

Just a quick "update" on this subject.

I see over on TMP Keep Your Powder Dry has just reconfirmed that they have all the information from the original BCW site and the Regimental Wiki and that these sites will be returning in due course.

No firm dates yet but it will be very useful to have them back again, hopefully soon.

The wayback machine version of the site still exists but is only a shadow of what it was, with many entries that were once easily accessable now not functioning at all.

Firstly, thanks for all the kind words about the return of the BCW Project and Wiki.

The Wiki was easy to upgrade. The Project side of the site was a real hotch potch of code. It's been completely rewritten and is now live. It doesn't really look any different, but should display properly on modern devices without the annoying overlapping of text and imagery that used to happen. There's a few extra features in the search engine. If anyone encounters any problems please let me know.

Still got to get around to rewriting the privacy policy and a few other housekeeping bits*. But other than that, it's now properly back.

* September innit!? Back to work after the summer holidays. Unfortunately day job interfering with doing what I actually want to do

Presumably activating the donations page is on your to do list Radar?....I'll be contributing when it is enabled.

I'm running a Newburn Ford scenario (next week now) and the BCW site has been very useful in finding what units might have been present in 1640.
