Penal Troops - Mine Clearing

Hi there, some of the Russian lists allow "Penal Troops - Mine Clearing" but I can't see anywhere in the rules (or on the forum) detailing how these work to clear mines.  Thanks for the help.

That's exactly what you do  :)

You dice for the effect of the mines for each 5cm they advance through the minefield.
For each 5cm they move they effectively clear the mines. If they are KO'd they path they have cleared remains cleared behind them. So you will, in effect, always get 5cm of cleared minefield regardless of whether the unit is KO'd immediately or not. The unit can be suppressed just the same as any other units.
