As illness keeps cancelling my attemps a playing these new rules, I thought I'd start sorting out my armies https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2024/12/midgard-heroic-battles-getting-started.html

Give us a clue what the rules are like - I'm sure I will be a victim of SLD at some point with these!
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I would also be interested in your thoughts on the game.   I think the author ran a 6mm Trojan Wars variant and I found this particularly appealing !

I will certainly post a bat rep and my first thoughts.
Glorfindel, there are lists for Greeks and Trojans from the Iliad in the book.

Is there an anacronym for my desire to buy every new ruleset without having played a fraction of the ones I already own?

On the subject of rule sets, the Japanese have a word I am very fond of. The word is tsundoku.

It means a person who owns a lot of unread literature. One who buys books, piles them up and never quite gets around to reading them.

I'm sure that covers rule books.
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

d_Guy

So one who has a large collection of partially completed math(s) puzzle books would be a sudoku tsundoku?
