We are very pleased to announce that Pendraken are the new UK stockist for the excellent Litko products!

LITKO Game Accessories designs and manufactures a huge range of hobby gaming products including tokens, markers, dice towers, measuring devices, gauges, templates, bases, movement trays and more!  These high-quality and uniquely designed products will enhance your gaming experience and let you UPGRADE YOUR GAME!

For the past decade or so these products have been available through Gaming Enhancements (formerly Figures in Comfort) and Erik & Ellen have done a fantastic job of building and supporting the UK customer base.  We'd like to thank them for their help in getting the stock transferred to us and wish them all the best for the future.

To get started we'll be doing an inventory of the stock we've received and then we can place our first order from Litko.  We'll be focusing on the Tokens & Markers ranges to begin with but moving forward we'll be looking to expand across many of their ranges, so please get in touch if there's something in particular you'd be interested in seeing.

We'll have the first of these products available online through our website shortly (www.pendraken.co.uk) and in our physical shop up here in Middlesbrough.  We'll also be taking a selection of the most popular items along to the UK shows too so make sure to come by and have a look.

We'll have more updates as we get the stock added to our website!

Great news!  Do you want orders from customers so you have an idea what will sell?  Just been looking at their website during the last week.

Definitely, drop me an email with anything you've been looking at.  It might not be something we'd planned to stock straightaway but we should be able to get them in for you with our first stock order.

The 'Burning' and 'Smoke' markers are great! Way better than cotton wool! :)

Very useful and good timing!  :-bd

I'm going to need more than a few flight stands - and I'm sure I saw some useful tokens and markers as well on the Litko site (I just happened to be visiting it this morning  ;) )

I realise this is incredibly niche.
I've been an occasional customer for Litko's 0.8mm plywood bases, and matching sticky magnets.

HMRC's £17 "service charge" on transatlantic goods knocked that product on the head for me.

Do you have any plans to stock / manufacture such thin bases?

(Imagine a paper-cut, but from beech ply, and you get some idea of how thin they are.)

Unfortunately I'm not planning on stocking their bases at the moment, just due to the shipping costs on bringing in bulky/heavy items like that.  Once we've built up a good working relationship then Litko may be up for allowing us to manufacture the bases in the UK under their banner, but I'd need to talk to them about that.

The only potential problem there is that the price of 0.8mm ply in the UK is around 6x the price of 2mm MDF, so they'd be a lot more expensive.

I've had a quick look at the initial stock we've received and there is a single pack of 120x60mm in 0.8mm plywood, just in case anyone needs that size!

Regarding the 0.8m ply, I use the three most common WRG sizes, 40mm frontage, 20, 30 or 40mm.

I understand there are all manner of arguments against such thin bases.
 * Difficulty of handling, unless you have guitar player's finger-nails.
 * They're rather flimsy in the larger sizes.
 * The "paper cut" risk I mentioned in an earlier post.
 * I'd imagine manufacturers also find large sheets of 0.8mm thick ply an absolute pain to store and handle.

The one positive that drove me to adopt them.
6mm and smaller figures don't look like statues stood on a plinth.

There was a time when this mattered to me.
Now my eyesight struggled with 6mm.
But I have a sizeable pile of unbased figures...
A throwback to my days of less disciplined hobby shopping.

Plasticard is another option, as long as the thinner stuff is strong enough for basing?  It looks to be around twice the price of MDF so could be viable.

Just to update everyone on this, the Litko stock is now up and available on the website here: https://www.pendraken.co.uk/litko-gaming-aids-1097-c.asp  We've got a large variety of the Tokens along with a selection of the other items, with more on the way from the States currently.

We've also added a Clearance section for some of the products that we're not planning to stock initially, along with some discontinued Litko items, so have a browse and see if there's anything you need: https://www.pendraken.co.uk/clearance-1108-c.asp

If there are any Litko items that you'd like us to order in for you, just drop us a message and we'll add them to our next stock order.
