Not Team Yankee - support for the Cold War US infantry - M113's and a troop of mixed M60s (a Starship has snuck in somehow) with a couple of A10 Warthogs giving air cover.

I remember seeing an A10 Warthog hedge hopping many years ago by a village where I lived. I didn't hear it until it was almost next to me. Very impressive to see.

Years ago, hill walking in Snowdonia, was very startled to find myself looking down onto the Tornadoes hurtling through the valley.

Where a friend lived near the Brecon Beacons, there was a valley you used to see various fighters whizzing up, which was pretty impressive, especially looking down on them too.

As a kid we often went to RAF Alconbury to see the various 'V' Bombers at the base, plus the Duxford Airshow of course.

I'm not exactly sure where "the course" is but this sounds like the famous "Mach Loop." Very popular with military aircraft enthusiasts and, of course, the military.

Loads of spectacular videos on YouTube, btw, .... although I wonder if they are really there for the flying .....   :-\

When I was a child, my Dad was in the RAF. He served on English Electric Lightnings.

When they scrambled, it was very, very noisy.

And go into ground vertically!! There is a pic of such, but I can't post it. Pilot survived with injuries.

Used to travel through valley where A10s would just pop over hill, not far overhead. And than a Vulcan did same thing!
(40 Yrs ago. I should have been an Angry Young Man... but wasn't.
Now... I am an Old B******! )  ;)
