The Antipodean game to mark the official birthday went very well. Pierre the Shy and I visited Wellington Warlords and very much enjoyed playing the
Battle of Guilford Courthouse (American War of Independence 1775–1783) in 10mm

There were a lot of positive comments on the game and the 10mm figures :)  :)
Several people were surprised that Pendraken had been going for 30 years and were impressed by the shop :o  8)

Three pictures of the initial game set up below, a battle report will follow

I hope all who attend in person have a great time <:-P  <:-P  <:-P

Oh well, my determination to resist the Peninsula range has been broken.  Just ordered a British Army pack with a few extras.

Congratulation for your 30th Birthday and I hope the celebration weekend is a great success and you all have a great time.  Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Great looking games being played today. Well done to all involved. Special thanks to Leon and the crew for setting up the Discord feed.

It looks like the small dragon from Ivor the Engine.

I looked it up, the Dragon's name is Idris.

Happy Birthday Pendraken! Great work Dave and Leon for getting to this milestone.

Hope the day went well - I was able to visit Pendraken Towers about 10 days ago - and the shop looks great and the games room was coming on nicely!

Happy birthday!

Congrats on a great day yesterday. Was hoping to get down however, kitchen renovation put a spanner in the works. Just getting an order together - hopefully, I'll get it off before midnight!

Look forward to seeing some of you at Claymore in August (a wee bit closer to home for me).

Just a quick update on yesterday, the day went fantastically well with about 60-70 people rocking up to Pendraken HQ to play some games, buy some toys and eat some pizza!  We've got a load of pictures that I'll get uploaded tomorrow.

Yes had a good day out refighting Guilford Courthouse at the Warlords

I think we flew the flag pretty well for the cause, not sure if we convinced too many larger scale devotees to downsize to 10mm but the game certainly got a steady flow of onlookers and favourable comments.

And the winner was...........10mm gaming.
