Oh my lord! Haven't actually started a thread for my Western Desert British

A13 mkII second platoon/troop/squadron
Here they come

Great looking tanks, pity they were so naff

Yes, more Caunter

Top view

Electric powered turrets were ground breaking at the time

They do look good

Humber armoured car

Third Crusader II to take my force up to three, which seems a reasonable

Unfortunatley, I got the colours wrong and had to repaint to match the others

Mortar section and command

Command stand and three infantry stands (which will bulk out my others to two platoons, with or without leaders)

Advancing

Back of the unit

Going the other way

A truck

A brace of 2lber portees

Also in Caunter

A reminder of what came before...
Infantry, two of which have integral commanders for BKC

Vickers MMG

Bren carriers

First troop/squadron of A13 MkII

The other two Crusaders

Looks more like a 1-1 set, 3 tanks to a troop.

Nicely done. Those early war tanks had a charm about them.

fred.

Great stuff - always good to see lots of A series tanks - at least until they encounter the enemy, or break down, or fall to pieces...

Good patience on the pennants, they were well fiddly to add to my tanks.

I'd not spotted the 2pdr portees before - will have to remember to add some of those to my desert Brits.

1:1 maybe, but will act as a squadron for BKC too.
