I have a long-standing wargaming associate (I think that is the proper terminology) who regularly states with glee "don't roll a 1" & each time he says it I suspect he doesn't know just how close he comes to a cruel and gruesome death ... from not only me, but everybody else he plays with 

But, of course, he is totally oblivious to the same tactic being used on him back
