Somewhere, one of my Mid-Republicn Roman elephants has escaped in the depths of my shed. I needed a two stand elephant unit for Campaign last weekend, so I rootled around in Si's box and found a brace of Indian nellies that I could rebase.

Oh wow! First time I've seen this thread. Completely wish those Macedonian's were mine (from the first post) - the miniature sculpts look ace, the painting is fab, and I'm loving the basing.    Ditto for the last post, too ("Byzantine/Late Romans and/or/maybe Arthurians").

Like Roy, I seemed to have missed this thread. It is a joy to behold! Excellent and persistent work, Wil. It is a tribute to my actual hobby - rebasing.

Love all the work, but bent spears, swords and bayonets send a chill up my spine.
