I think Bagpipes were 'meant' for 'Rock'!
Or E Guitar tuned for 'pipes'!
Deeply regret not going to a 'Big Country' gig when I had the chance to.  :( A Fave Band... would have been 'Stomping'!

Great stuff, a formidable force!

Is there a reason you only have 1 limbered gun per battery?

But they will look better, with each limber with its own gun. And just a few guns will be quick to paint - its the crews and the horses that take the time.

Blame Pendraken.

They sell guns in 3's and limbers in 2's.

I do plan to upgrade - the Brits are 100% gunned. I hear tell Pendraken are going to do some cassions.

I'll pass the buck to the size of the moulds, we can't squeeze that 3rd limber and team into a 9" mould sadly...!

There are some caissons planned at some point, one of our customers has taken the lead with that.

I'm making do with some ACW Napoleons - single trail, but I want to get them unlimbered as quickly as possible.  :D

I think I'll invest in some Austrian gun/limber combos. I can use the guns as limbered, and the horses to add to horse teams.

Indeed they are well done! So much work. I have always liked the Bavarians. Not sure why I thought you did not use flock then I remembered you don't use base embellishments. Shrubs, stones, fireplugs, that sort of thing.

Still, the vast array of enemies of the French that you have done forces the questions, Will there be French? Will you spray paint 20,000 figures in blue, then put a white "X" on the front and back of each? Will there be a 'Year of the French'? Will I be alive to see it?

Today I am celebrating my renewed retirement and harassing Mi'lord Runcorn is one of the simple pleasures I have missed!
