'Modern' figures, for Ice Station Zebra/The Thing?

Wasn't there a Cold War film where the USSR invades Alaska? Not Red Dawn or The Day After, but around the same time?

Techno II

PAH ! =)

What I want to know is....

At the one true scale...apart from the magazines being a slightly different shape..one's curved (AK 47)....and one looks straight (AK 74)...what's the difference ?

In gaming use...do they have any different statistics ?

I never said anything about the Cold War, Martyn !!.....(Oh...Dammit..I have given it away now.) ;)

'The Thing'.....Now that would be fun to make some wee 'men' 'thingys' for.

Cheers - Phil. :)

Lord Kermit of Birkenhead

There are several types of magazine, so both would be correct. The 74 is just a small calibre version of the 47, round about 5.45mm as opposed to 7.62k used by the 47. Less stopping power but still more than enough. No difference in game terms.
