Cheers - Phil.

Northumberland... Ok. A bit warm for the Long Hair GSD outside yesterday... but not 'Fahrenheit 451'. Bit of Dawn 'mist' today, so might get out, but just light overcast atmo.

Phones and Laptops have thermometers? I don't believe the 'ice warning' on the car...too often it's wrong.

Yes. Temperature is easy to measure with modern electronic devices.

So damn hot yesterday, I almost started using the ProCreate putty, instead of Greenstuff.

Normally.....The ProCreate putty is too stiff for my feeble fingers to mix.....It certainly wasn't yesterday !
I had to mix extra 'blue' into the Greenstuff to make that workable. The normal mix was like trying to work with chewed chewing gum, it was so soft !

This supposed to be the last day of silly heat ?

Cheers - Phil. :)

It's time to take things seriously when the heat starts threatening future mini ranges.

Thankfully the first sign here that the extreme heat is on the wane, as we have a nice cooling easterly breeze and it actually feels fresh this morning. I might even be able to get out on my bike for a short ride, which will be nice as it's been too hot to even contemplate it for over a week :(.

Seems the same here on the NW coast - cooler this morning and somewhat cloudy, still forcast to get to 25ยบ during the day but with some cloud cover.

After self-isolation the last couple of weeks I was very keen to get out on my bike this week, went out later on Tuesday and Wednesday - about 7pm and was nice. Went out earlier last night about 6pm and it was very hot, and felt much harder work even though I went 10km less.

Yeah, it's been a little cooler and mistier this morning in these parts too though still to get warm later. We've had the hottest temperature record broken 3 times this week as it got hotter and hotter. Topped out at 31.4C in some parts. Was so hot they had to grit the roads to stop it from melting. Our infrastructure is set up for cold and wet, doesn't deal with extreme heat! (or extreme snow for that matter).

Cue our warmer climate friends laughing at 31.4C being the hottest ever...

We had ceiling fans fitted to the bedrooms yesterday.   I expect the temps to plummet now till next year.
