Yep - he's a Lab / Springer cross that was rescued [maybe from a 15mm-er   ]

He gets lots of exercise & play: we [him, me & the & 7 yr-old German Shepherd] were on Dunster Beach at 6am...lovely. And he'll come to do the horses later.

Just before he decided to eat the Motherland's finest, he had been lying quietly on the kitchen floor with the GS. I went out to the garage to get paint...back about 60 seconds later...sneaky monkey  

Thinned wash of Khaki onto uniforms; thinned wash of Cayman Green onto helmets, blanket rolls & guns / vehicles:

Does this elapsed time include the time to extract T26 from the dog's gums?

How are the poses for the Russian winter rifleman? Looking at the photos on the PD site, the one standing and firing looks wrong - he's holding his rifle in an odd fashion...

Other than that, nice work once again. (and are you sure there's no German Shepherd in your pup's ancestry? )

I think you're talking about this one - does look a bit odd - his left hand is at the end of the barrel, but paints up OK:

On the snipers is the same - maybe the sculptor has never held a rifle?

The Russians never did have much luck with dogs & tanks did they...

Nik, are you sure it's really your dog? After all, he only ate two T-26's (and even some infantry!), when there were all these nice and tasty T-34's around as well!

Still a big bummer when something like that happens, though. And I think I would just throw in the towel after anything like that. Amazing how you just keep on going.

Anyway, a real spiffing job (as usual). And on the one hand I have to agree with Aart, this has got to stop! Because I think what's the point, why spend hours painting a few bits when this guy cranks em out by the boatload. But on the other hand, it is inspirational, and makes me want to put brush to figure, rather than just sit at the computer and look at what others are doing.
