What Ho chaps!
Looking for model rugby players. Possibly up to 28mm scale. Not Bloodbowl spikey it real players.
Found two firms that produce 'football' or 'soccer' figures, and many American Footballers but apart from Cashtackle figures which are as rare as hen's teeth, there is nowt out there!

Any old Subbuteo rugby figures languishing on eBay, Will ?

There'd only be one pose though, if you can find any.

I'm sure Irregular must do some? They usually have one of everything tucked away somewhere! I must check now I've mentioned it :D

Edit: well, maybe not - there's one guy in shorts & t-shirt, bare head and empty hands in the 20mm moderns but that's it! Plenty of armed footballers in the VBCW ranges but I'm guessing you want rugby players playing rugby, not overthrowing the government...
I provide a cheap, quick painting service to get you table top quality figures ready to roll - www.facebook.com/jtppainting

Eureka Miniatures? Just a guess.
Possibly something an Australian or New Zealand company might produce since they're not half bad at the game.
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

England and Wales but not Scotland or Ireland!!!!  >:( >:( >:(

However, are these any good? Bit slender for Rugby players IMHO but might do you.

Try the Japanese. They've started winning at the game.

Nice find Mike, wonder how easy they would be to repainted as All Blacks for a Maori army? ;)

Hello ML

I found rugby players discussed here http://www.theminiaturespage.com/plus/msg.mv?id=130540 .

The website is defunct but the sculptors blog is here http://madfindesigns.blogspot.com.au/. Maybe you can get something through him.

Otherwise there are the 25mm Eureka soccer players http://eurekamin.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=87_126_708&products_id=9466

Cheers

Irregular do some AVBCW armed footballers too... Not brilliant sculpts, and all carrying small arms.

And for anybody interested in multi-sport.
Sloppy Jaloppy make an armed cricket team kitted out for the VBCW era.

Mine are getting prepped for some pulp adventures.
It's amazing how difficult it is to get "whites" right.

Indeed so steve, a very pale sand should do it.

Those are good figures, recognise some of them - No 9 is Sid Going.

You have been busy painting lately judging from recent posts....
