You had a weird day ?  ;D ;D

I got fixed focus with both eyes yesterday....Could see what I was doing 'close up' on the wee men (more Egyptians....not too far away from finishing those.   :D)
As soon as I looked away from the desk, everything was blurred.

This morning I've got pretty sparkly patterns with both eyes.....Which means some of the gloop in the eyes has slightly come away from the retinas....
Just about worn off now. :-bd

I think I might leave the tiny figures alone next week, and work on some 30mm stuff, just to give my eyes a bit of a rest.

Cheers - Phil.  :)

I used to get that Phil and a real pain. Using a magnifying lamp really made a huge difference, plus trying to give me eyes periodic breaks by walking away from the bench to get longer views for the eyes to rest a bit.

Thank you, Ian. ;)

It's probably having the Optivisor on for umpteen hours every day that causes it, Steve. ;)

Cheers - Phil.  :)

I couldn't get on with an Optivisor Phil and that's not including the issue of wearing glasses. Being able to just lift your head and see 'normally' was a big bonus and really gave your eyes a mini rest each time.

I don't find any problem wearing the optivisor with 'specs', Steve....l know I've said before, I'm VERY short sighted....But you may have a point in that I probably should 'flip them up' from time to time...or at least more often.

Cheers - Phil :)

Phil your best bet is to develope catteracts - laser surgey will fix you back to 20-20 vision.

Last time I went to the opticians, Ian.....I was told I was just starting to develop cataracts.

Shouldn't need checking for a couple of years, though. (Apparently)

Cheers - Phil :)

By Jove, I think I'll have the Bohemians ready in time for the contest!

Quite a lot of dry brushing and flesh tones done today. Big progress made on a lot of stuff, but after a night of horrible dreams about a place of work I left in 2007 (under a nasty boss and self-imposed cloud), I'm just not feeling it* today. I was awake between 3.45 and 5. Normally I sleep like a log (with built in chainsaw effects)
