Leon,
Any chance for doing a Matilda scorpion for mine clearing in the North African campaign,
you could use the existing model and just do the attachment.
John Sandars did one in 1/76 and he published plans at the time, if I could find them
I could let you have them and you could reduce the size.
Cheers

It is a bit rare as a vehicle.

Hello
Re Matilda scorpion, they were used during the second battle of El Alemein, sources say there were several used to open up lanes through the minefields for the follow up tanks.
Michael Carver in his book about El Alemein mentions one which was hit whilst clearing a path and lit up the night sky causing traffic to build up and give Axis anti tank guns excellent targets.

Checked further - 24 built  in Middle East, delivered 2 days before Alemain, and reasonably sucessful. Looking at pictures it would be better to do it as an add on peice to the standard matilda. Consists of a large box on the right with an auxilliary engine, smaller one on left, with two frames extending to roller (that for Leon's benifit). Picture in B.T. White British Armoured Fighting Vehicles 1914 - 45 published by Ian Allen in the late 60's.

Orcs

I wanted a couple of Matilda Scorpians and Leon kindly swapped the Sherman in the  Sherman Flail pack BR75 for a Matillda.  I appreciate its not quite correct but it looks OK, and is good enough to represent what its suposed to be on the table.  Purists could add the Auxilliary engine box in milluput or green stuff, but I didn't bother.

I'll pop it on the list, but it's probably easier to convert one 'Orcs' has done above.
