When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Quite mad about it, in truth.

Here's the root blog.  Yup, it has branches.  Probably starting one for the WWII this weekend.

Allow me to add my WWII blog, focused on my tactical ruleset, 10 mm pendraken and 10 mm terrain.  Having it all in one place made for a very chaotic blog, much better now.

Only just got the painting urge back after a couple of months inactivity... the arrival of a recent Pendraken order has helped enormously  ;)

That also means my blog is back up and running as I try and paint up enough WW2 units for a Operation Typhoon battle planned for the Colours weekend (at my home as opposed to the race course I stress).

As we'll be using some fast play homemade rules, we plan to have some weekly Thursday try-outs beforehand (this coming Thursday beng the first), so I'm frantically painting and rebasing my Pendrakens to give us five formations aside (Infantry, Cavalry and Armour). This way I should be galvanised enough to get the job done and then expand the forces post Colours for more mayhem come Warfare in November... I've already bought some Finnish  :-[

Any encouragement would be very much appreciated...

I'm new to 10mm and started a blog to document my blunders and triumphs.  It's all dark ages stuff, so if that is your thing you can check it out at http://miniaturesaga.blogspot.com/

This thread is really useful for those of us who live on the fringes of wargamer world.  There are a lot of gems and useful advice.

Unlike some people, I feel under no obligation to pretend that only one war-gaming scale is true, and that any others 6mm/10mm/15mm/25mm are mistaken; or that I know better than people themselves what is right for them to use. The point is precisely for all war-gamers to decide for themselves.
