Next on the completed list: Goliaths!

Not sure when I'll use these in a game - good for attacking fixed defenses like bunkers I guess - but they are too cute not to have.

I'm toying with the idea of painting the edge of the winter one white so it will blend with the table top better.

They're great wee things! I'd say you're right about the edging, white would look good.

In one of the books "D-day through German eyes" One of the men said he was in a "Goliath bunker". This was a bunker with a carefully concealed exit onto the beach and a line of Goliaths that were supposed to be guided out onto the beach against enemy tanks. THe two described were not very successful, one had its control wire cut by shell fire, the other fell into a crater.

I paint the edges of my winter/snow bases a very light blue - it stops me losing them on an all white snow table (snow blindness)  :D

I'm a big fan of the Goliaths, I think they're cute :)

Those look very good indeed!

My own ones have either been spectacularly successful or a dismal failure in game ... usually the latter :(

Particularly like the tracks in the snow! Lighter edges will finish the base nicely :)

Very nice work! I didn't know Pendraken had Goliaths, this post just cost me a few more bucks on my next order.

In BKC you can have a Hannomag, StuG or Tiger as "mothership" for them.
