Hi Michael,

I don't really think so, without some modification.  The chistera doesn't have the turned up brim characteristic of the Corsehut worn by Austrian Landwehr.  The Portuguese line might do as surrogates for the Portuguese Legion but I think you'll need to add fringed epaulettes and short swords.

Hi John

Thanks for that. Not the usual Corsehut but the same type of top hat. Lots of examples like these gentlemen.

There were a good number of regions sporting the top hat rather than/and also the Corsehut.

Portuguese can get greenstuff epaulettes but they may have their hangers (sabres) left back at the depot.

Cheers, Michael

And that's all folks, pledging is now closed!  Thanks to all of you for your incredible support for this project, it went way beyond any of our expectations and we really appreciate every single pledge we've received.  We'll be working hard over the coming months to get these all sculpted and into moulds, so keep an eye out for pictures of the sculpts and buildings as we receive them!

To everyone who has backed this project, we'll be contacting you in the next few days to confirm that you are happy with everything on your pledge.  You'll receive a spreadsheet by email where you can check and edit your order before submitting it to us, and we'll then send you a PayPal invoice for the deposit amount.  The balance will be due once the figures are ready to ship.

Congratulations Leon! A BIG positive thumbs up to  the10mm Napoleonic collectors out there. Maybe the way forward is " non kickstarters" for future ranges!  Well done to everyone who has supported this scheme and showing how popular and strong the hobby still is! 😁
Although I don't envy your work load over the coming months 😬

I am very pleased to see how well this has worked for you, Leon

Now be ready for lots of posts  " Are thwepeninsular Napoleonics ready yet?" . "When will the buildings be out?" - the wargamers  equivalent of "are we there yet?"

and of course - in mid September:-

" I missed the Peninsular Napoleonic Kickstarter. Can I place an order now and get the freebies that were offered on the Kickstarter?"
