But what I've nearly bought, oh my! Late night browsing on Ebay is not good for me  ;D
Fortunately I hadn't been drinking

Drink more.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Thats very dangerous, I bought a sprue of Oathmark Dwarves for my Frostgrave war band.  THey are quite nice, not perfect but good fillers for an army.

I really didn't need to know that!  ;D

Techno

Stroll on.....The cheapo watch I ordered for Von has just arrived..(from the Netherlands)...The whole package positively STANK of dope*...How it got through customs, I'll never know.

*I've never touched the stuff....But I DO know what it smells like.....Blank me !! X_X...... @-) @-) @-) @-)

Cheers - Phil.

I'm 67 this summer, been retired almost 7 years and long since resigned myself to the realisation that I am, by and large, a planner of, and buyer for, projects that will never even start, let alone get completed.

But, as you say, it's good to have goals and besides it beats the hell out of collecting teaspoons or thimbles! :)

Yeah that man!  Much better than such collections, although I have a weakness for bookmarks and fridge magnets.  Having forward looking objectives is good for your health and the excellent news is that if you reach 70 you have something like a 97% actuarial chance of making 80.

I found the research and reading very helpful in business because, being in international business, hosts were impressed that I knew a lot about their history and geography (although knowing that Catherine de' Medici brought the fashion of ladies knickers from Italy to Northern Europe as a result of her marriage nearly got me into embarrassing trouble  ;D ).

I also learnt a few extra points in man-management and specifically used ideas of WAVELL and SLIM in working in big corporations.

Well I am sure lots of us have had lots of time to look at shiny stuff while on lockdown.

How many of you have succumbed and what have you bought.

Seriously thought about

Brigade Miniatures Aeronefs and rules ( had got over this until Will posts a bloomin' photo today)

A gadget consisting of a headband (Think Bjorn Borg), a bit of elastic and a soft sponge ball.

It is a boxing training aid for #3 son (The Tiny Goblin).
It has proved sufficiently interesting to take him away form his telephone for half an hour per day.

Those are public galleries, they should be viewable without a FB account.

Don't think I've any small enough to attach here but I'll pop you a PM with my email so I can send them direct...

Ah ha! New firmware on phone lets me easily resize pics when selecting them, should be two attached! Or not... it only likes jpg's not JPEG's.

Grgh.

Ok, let's try a link!
