Duke Speedy of Leighton

FINALLY got these painted, after buying them in 2015.

I only started them on Sunday, so not bad for 198 figures. Reason for it is I said I would host a PBEM on Wednesday, and I needed the figures for Dybbol.

Five infantry units, I know these are some of the older sculpts in the catalogue, but it's only the standard bearer and musician that feel like the older types.

Dragoons and Hussars - also unlikely to appear on Wednesday!

Dragoons

Hussars - with their lovely sculpted Pelisse, there is another unit coming soon, honest!

Artillery, more on order

Not all will be used, but certainly some will have a hard time! Big batch.

Not bad for a week  :o

Good work, its strange how figures can sit around for so long and then suddenly get all painted up. A game is a great motivator!

Really liking the look of the infantry and the cavalry. But the officers look a little lost, on their own on their big snowy bases, and the double based guns don't quite work (I'd have gone for 1 a base and had twice as many stands available!)

They look great. The dark uniforms on the snowy base really works.

These have this "ultra realistic" feel, at least for me.

You need to take some artistic shots with a complimentary snow filled battleground to really lift these to an another level.

In short: looking great.

Thanks Noktu, they will be manning the barricades at Dybbøl on Wednesday.

Very nice looking. I'm doing very similar in 6mm but perhaps a bit less snow on the bases, the ice cubes in the movement trays are proving troublesome  :o
