Thank you for all the kind comments, you guys have been so supportive over the course of this project and have motivated me to keep on going and actually finish a project, believe me I have a lot of unfinished one. My Expansion package has arrived and is currently in 72hr quarantine....keep watching this space!

Thanks to the staff at Pendraken for receiving my relief column for my ECW project.

There are some Dragoons mounted and dismounted enough for a regiment per side. I have yet to decide how to base them, I don't like the look of mixed mounted and dismounted bases I have seen with 28mm pike and Shotte armies I would prefer  to substitute when dismounted. So I will probably base as regular cavalry and then the infantry in a 3 base skirmish line. There are 2 medium guns, again 1 gun per army, with .

Finally I have some cavalry, I have bought a pack of lobster and brimmed hats and plan on mixing them up, 1 regiment will be Prince Rupert's lifeguard of horse the other another Royalist regiment. I  also have Prince Rupert and his faithful companion 'Boy'.

Be interested to see how you do your dragoons, I too have a pack of mounted and dismounted in my to-do pile, as well as a horse holder I believe.

Hi mmcv, Dont think they come with a horse holder and empty mounts. I  plan to have 4 figures in a skirmish line per base, I bought both caps and Morian dragoons advancing to get a mix, and then a command base with flag, drummer and officer behind  4 skirmishers. This will have the same frontage as my pike and shotte and commanded shotte but with less dense bases. That will then leave me enough foot figures to add a second regiment of dragoons when/if I choose to expand the armies further. Currently finishing off some FIW Blue Moon British Line infantry bought last Salute, once done with them will begin prepping and undercoating, so this time next week hopefully I will be making progress.

No I got the horse holder from another range I think, maybe LoA, just to use as a marker piece.

Sounds good, looking forward to seeing them.

I have started on my relief column with some skirmishing dragoons for both Parliamentarian and Royalist armies. I am missing flags for them as whilst I can source Parliamentarian Guidons I cannot find Royalist Dragoon guidons in 10mm?

Morning

Nice work on painting up those dragoons  :-bd

If you're happy to edit these in something like GIMP or MS Paint and then print them out then here's a link to a free PDF on the BCW Project site of a series of articles that were originally in Military Modelling back in the 1980's including Dragoon guidions for both sides:

Hope you find it useful

Thank you Peter, due to Covid-19 we bought a printer to print out my daughters school work, with such an excellent resource I can now print my own flags
