Last night I placed two orders. One with Pendraken (yes I know it's not Pendraken Ordering Day yet, but I am rapidly running out of bases and so I had to order them and it's rude to place a small order so ...)  and one with Tumbling Dice. Tumbling Dice have a very rapid turn around, orders are processed in justr a few days, and Pendraken have been frankly astonishing with their speedy service recently, so the race is on!

No pressure Leon.


In other news, due to the sudden departure of my cats, I now have a large room spare. What can I do with it? It was the "spare" bedroom, but I don't expect visitors in the next 23 years, so Wargames Room! There's a project for the winter!

In other, other news, I'm getting a bit twitchy about my next project (again). I've completed the Flodden Scots (huzzah!)and have to start of the Flodden English (boo!) ... but after that? The new Pendraken releases do make me think I might be able to get a Byzantine army ... then of course, the Greeks will be out soon ... and I may even flirt with Greek Mythology or Arthurian ... but I'd like something in a bloomin' uniform.  Some Chinese to take on the might of Japan in 1941 - PzIIs vs Type 95s??  Or Viet Nam? I'm a bit leery of Viet Nam ... but French IndoChina? Actually, I'm missing the obvious. I have a pile of Nappies accumulating which all need a lick of paint. Perhaps that's the next one.

Westie was pretty close ... on all three counts.

I have come to the realisation that I should not be allowed to dwell with any other living thing ... be it fish, fowl, feline or fauna. I work long hours and was somewhat grumpy when I got home ...especially if I lost another game of furball minefield. Last year I discovered the word misophonia, which is having a hatred of noises produced by others. I have a particular cat form which means things such as cats chewing, scratching, meowing, purring or producing a furball are somewhat painful.

They are lovely cats. The lived with me but that was about it. I thought they should have someone who would at least be available for more than an hour a day. Couple that with new neighbours with a dog that upset them, and my grand plan to move at some point in the near(ish) future ... and it was a Durex moment (better for both).
