Yeah  Mat-o-War look great but Antenociti has been out of stock for ages

The GW one is very good as long as you want 6'x4' green. Splashed out for one recently to replace the artificial turf mat I bought from Lidl for £5.99 a few years back.

I bought one his desert mats two years ago. After less than a dozen games it was looking tatty and bits were starting to peel off all over the place.

I dread to think what it looks like now as it hasn't seen the light of day for a year and has been stored under the bed (albeit rolled up in its original packaging)

If I was to buy again, I would look elsewhere

For plain felt mats your local dressmaking shop is great, thicker and much cheaper than GW

I like the look of the Mat-o-War ones, terrain mats are on my list of 'Things I'd Like to Stock One Day...' !   

I ordered one several years ago. It took ages to be delivered with no contact from them.

When it arrived I can't say I was particularly impressed with it - there was a dirty great bit of bush in the middle which seemed so out of scale. I binned it.
The roads aren't bad though.

A mate of mine had one - but as others have noted, it soon fell apart...Mat-o-Wars are lovely though [and seriously tough]

And Sandinista's advice re local cloth shops is absolutely on the money too...my favourite mat at the moment is my little 3' x 2': made from a poker set felt which I've stippled dilutes of various browns on...*seriously* cheap & coolio-looking I think...

I bought the semi arid one a few years back.

I like it but it was not cheap. It does curl up at the end so you would never fold it.

I too keep under the bed rolled up in its original tube and I should use it more often.

Got a desert mat o war for christmas no problem with delivery.

Tough as owt  but its a bit plain but with a bit paint you could do wonders I just can`t be arsed.

played on my mates terrain mat and they do look better but the stuff comes off really quickly.

Are they flexible enough to drape over hills or are they only suitable for flat terrain? 

Still on the terrain mat topic, anyone know of anything that would suit for a coastal terrain out there. I'm a little squeezed for time, so a decent starting point or any advice would be much appreciated!
