I am planning a 10mm Napoleonic Italian army and I am looking for information/sources about the army of the Napoleon's Republic of Italy or early Kingdom of Italy.

The period from 1808, when the infantry adopted the shako and the line infantry adopted white coats with facings in red and green, is well recorded. It is the earlier period that I am interested in.

The only source I have are some illustrations in an article from the English version of the Italian magazine Armies & Weapons from the early 1970s. These show infantry wearing bicones and green coats with white lapels, waistcoat and turnbacks with red cuffs, collars and pipping. The earlier Cisalpine republic are show with green trousers and waistcoats.

Any help would be much appreciated.
