We've been working on this range for quite some time now and we're finally ready to release them!  This first batch covers all of the American and Chinese forces, with infantry, command, mortars and artillery crews for both nations.  We'll have the British coming in the next 7-10 days and then the North and South Koreans following on before the end of the month hopefully.  Once these are all available, we'll be looking at all of the artillery towards the end of the year.  And don't forget that we've got most of the vehicles needed for this conflict already available here: https://pendraken.co.uk/modern/vehicles/

Phil's done a cracking job sculpting these and we'd also like to thank Sunray for all of his help and advice on this range.

Wow! You guys have been busy!

We have indeed!  We've trained up one of the guys to do production moulds, so we've gone from 3-4 moulds per week to 3-4 moulds per day!

Lovely job. Glad I can order what I want without kneeling or firing figures. TBH I'll probably use WWII BAR gunners rather than prone ones.

Will there be some MGs for the winter?

If it were me, I'd have stuck the radio ops in with the officers. Can't see how I'd use 10 radio operators.

But these are minor gripes. I am building my OOBs.

Can't wait to get some Centurions on the ground.  :D :D :D :D :D

This is a big commitment by Leon and Dave.  Thank you Pendraken.

Korea - particularly the early war retreat to Pusan and the Inchon landings offer really good table top scenarios.

I am experimenting with model railway H0/00 & N gauge "mountains" as backdrop features. Token really - bit like 20 trees = a jungle.

Outside Korea, Phil has wittingly created a lot of proxy figures.  The US early war (summer ) will pass nicely for WW2 as will the Brits in smocks - late war 1945 era . The 1950s bush hat/tropical Brits will make good 14th forgotten army.  The Koreans (S &N) will proxy for Latin American and Bush war types.

The 41 Royal Marine Commandos are my favourite sub range . Lots of NATO and Bush war applications.

Really love the detail on the command figures.  Some of these will even be able to be used with Falkland range.    :-bd

As discussed when the range was a gleam in Leon's eye,  the rules that need less tweak are BKC .  :)

90% of the kit is WW2, and it fits the post war era as opposed to modern.  For me the dividing line is guided weapons.

Leon has already sussed a downloadable Korean supplement.  :-bd

A major tweak  may be  revision of the Sherman M4A3E8 over the much vaunted  T34/85, especially with well trained US crews.  It came out best in the tank v tank encounters.

Just wondering if any of the US figures will proxy for ARVN infantry?

Hi Alan (from Antrim ?)- the light order and WW2 small arms  of the South Koreans would fit early war ARVN- to a point.

These figures are to Phil's neat style and not as "bulky" as the Vietnam range, so with a lighter build, could well serve as a proxy for Vietnamese.

Me too! I'm looking at some scenario ideas, even Chinese Civil War.  For me, Korean War scenario(s) have to involve some sort of tanks.  Researching Canadians or British vs Chinese.
