Look after yourself smokie.

The regular temporary blindness and collapse episodes I was having seem to have faded over the past couple of weeks to occasional bouts of disorientation and nausea so I have every hope of getting to Claymore myself.

Hope to see you, Jim and others there.

Gosh Mike, that sounds dramatic.

My most noticeable symptom is just extreme tiredness. All I do is fall asleep which doesn't half pass the time quickly.

Forgive me.

ARDs?

What are they?

I am awaiting another CT scan to tell me if I have cancer anywhere else.

Fingers crossed for your scan

Had my cosy chat with a nice doctor from Oncology.

She confirmed that my surgery was successful in removing one of my kidneys and preventing the cancer from spreading to my other kidney via my bladder and prostate.

However, I now have two spots on my lungs which weren't there last year as well a spot on my hip bone which hadn't been scanned before.

I get another scan next month to look for changes.

If treatment is required it would likely be chemotherapy by tablets. That will be no fun at all.

Hope the other guys get an easier ride.

Ack! Not good, Jim. Sorry to hear that.

Lady I've known since Uni days has recently had intravenous chemo, a mastectomy and is now on oral chemo which she reckons is much less savage than the intravenous version was.
