Paul, I truly understand about the weather and finding an opportunity to apply those important coats. After having to repaint a few elements I started spraying my protective coats inside. Yep, I have a box about 16 x 16 that I actually spray into which absorbs any over spray so only have the fumes in a room for about 20-30 minutes (use a room we don't frequent very often) . I also spread a small piece of painting drop sheet out over the piece of furniture I do this on, and set the box on that. I only spray one element at a time, holding it inside the box which is fully open on one end. I've done this for years and have never had any problem or gotten spray on anything it was supposed to get on - but more importantly humidity has not been a problem due to having an HVAC system..

When pictures are ready I will be looking forward to them! I have really enjoyed following your project, but suspect you are going to need a good size table for the game, but can't wait to see it all!!!

Weather much better today than forecast so I have varnished Régiment de Bourbonnais :)

I'll have to see it the light is still good enough for pictures once they are dry :-w

I managed to grab some pictures just before the sun disappeared behind the nearby hills #:-S

Régiment de Bourbonnais

First Battalion (I have no idea who thought a white cross on a white flag was a good design, probably the same person who thought white facings made sense on a white uniform)

Second Battalion (I've just noticed the flag edges need a little more paint by the blue quadrants)

Grenadiers and Chasseurs
