Just wondered how everyone was getting on/coping ?

I imagine quite a few of you are having an extremely (ahem) 'rough' time.....Good luck and best wishes to those of you that are already suffering

No proper snow in SW Wales........YET.....Apparently we're due a shed load mid afternoon.....Deep joy. X_X
At the moment just horribly, horribly cold.
(Which means ferrying out buckets & buckets of water to the barn for the horses AGAIN, tonight. :'( :'( :'( :'()

My sartorial elegance knows no bounds....I currently have 6 layers of shirts/pullovers etc on (indoors).....And I'm still not properly warm.
Not having sarnies for lunch today.....I'm doing myself some soup......Once I've unfrozen the gas !!

Our friends in Oz and NZ can join in....(and everywhere else, obviously).....Just to make us all very jealous. :P ;)

Knee deep in Grangemouth, Scotland and trying to figure out if we can still get to Bath tomorrow for a long weekend.  The missus is supposed to be running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday... so still trying to figure out just how bad it is out there!

Cold in Liverpool.

There was a droplet of snow in Runcorn last night. I was most annoyed that someone had use the snow from my car, my snow, to make a snowball.

It had all gone by this morning.

Aberdeenshire, a foot of snow in the garden, showers coming and going, bitterly cold with bad wind-chill.  Not moving around much, main roads I use OK.  Wouldn't venture cross-country though.  A radio phone-in this morning from a lady travelling from Inverness to Jura had met no real problems on the entire route

Some snow here near Belfast. Public transport outside Belfast seems to have ground to a halt. Weather forecast says it feels like -12 which I can believe.It does seem like weird snow as  it's more granular rather than flakes. Not sure if that's to do with the high winds or not
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Bloody cold here in Bristol with a wind chill down to -12C. Due to strength of wind, not much lying snow yet, but a lot forecast over the next 3 days.

@ Genom. I wouldn't even consider journeying to Bath let alone running the half-Marathon. Maybe they should convert it into a skiing event instead.

About 9 inches of snow here in sunny Renfrewshire (a tad deep for the wee cats here), more than twice that in the drifts (Jim, surprised you guys only have little more than a dusting). Some amazing drift formations caused by the wind also. Just finished clearing a path to the pavement then back up the driveway to one of the cars (the other one will stay there until the thaw) then done the same for the octogenarian widow across the road (I know. I'm a hero.  O:-) ).
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Snowed Wednesday 75- 100 mm. Windy so some drifting. Today wind is whipping the snow about a bit,
minor snow showers. Major roads all clear, minor roads passable with care. Pavements (sidewalks) horrible. .
