Also Howard lewis for those for whom "pancake day, pancake day, p p p p pancake day!" Is a find remembered memory.

She's crossed into the Dry Land too? For the sake of her earlier books, she is much to be mourned (but why, oh why, didn't the Earthsea Trilogy take the hint in its name and skip those disastrous later sequels?).

I think she'd gotten fed up with people not heeding her and made the message of her work into a club, not a needle...

I haven't read the later ones, or watched the mini-series; she seemed to think it was bobbins...

The last ones are stories carrying meanings that the plot and characters don't support. Extremely disappointing.

Mort Walker, creator of the comic 'Beetle Bailey' died yesterday.
Still remember his comics from when I was a kid!
At least he died at a 'decent' age; 94 is roughly what it should be I guess...

I hope I go well before that.

Love Frasier - know every episode. Mahoney's character was a great foil for the intellectual pomposity of Frasier and Niles. Sad news he's gone now.
