Bloody hell Roy, that sounds unfun. I had something food poisoning related the week before Xmas. Meant the missus had to do all the prep work. Not sure I got the best of the bargain, but even so it was more fun than your time :S

Blimey Jim, you are going through the wringer! My Dad had a tumour on his kidney and, fingers crossed, he is all ok, hale and hearty a year after the op. He spent Xmas in hospital having had the op Xmas Eve IIRC. Hope it all goes well for you as it has for Dad.

*have a colonoscopy scheduled for that day - not anticipating anything problematical - hopefully just precautionary.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Cheers Phil, I was recovered just in time for a manic Xmas fest :D

Hope all goes well with everyone else's rather more important bits and bobs. If it's got to be a medical soap drama, I hope the end of the feel good episode where they sort people out and not a high drama end of season special ;)
