Time of the actual winter solstice 

It's the shortest day of the year, time to incinerate a Druid at Stonehenge to mark the Sun's rebirth or whatever else takes your fancy.

Although not being even slightly Christian or religious the Solstice has always been is important as I've always considered it the actual start of a New Year and in another month and the Mut's morning walk will be in daylight

Yep, looking forward to tomorrow when the days start getting longer! At present cycle to work and back home in the dark, which is grim. Give it a month and I start to see some proper daylight

Incinerating Druids would damage the monument !!

I knew some really nice Druids, a couple of thousand years ago.

I'm a big fan of the Solstice as well, always nice to start looking forward to lighter nights!

Lighter nights but darker mornings - for a short while.

But you cant see the sky Leon, due to local chemical smog...almost as bad a Wuncorn.
