Be interesting to see how it changes the way you work. I find the flexi-hose thing makes the Dremel much lighter, so I can control it better.

You, with your sinewy, calloused, cut-about hands, are probably so adept a wafting the full weight Dremmel around, that you'll probably start off by overcompensating.

Collett - That's a strange word.

In my teens I had a crush on a girl called Collett

One question I've got.....

The vids I've looked at on YouTube, give the impression that you MUST 'dangle' the flexishaft, and not have it lying across the table-top.
I'm assuming, that's from a safety point of view.....Anybody just ignore this 'tip' ?

I can probably use a drawer handle to do this, if it's critical.

Plasters on standby.  :D

Which bit rotates?

I'm sure the one I got (which I have never used) came with a stand thing to hang the dremal from.

The end of the 'pen' like do-dah, Forbes.

The Dremmel itself, rotates a springy like thing through the flexishaft to the aforementioned 'pen'. (Damn....I'm SO good at explaining things... X_X)

I have just left the Dremel laying there, but it would probably Vibrate across a smooth the desk top. When I used it last the dremel was laying on the carpet so would not move.

Perhaps put Dremel in a box or draw to stop it moving

Thanks, Mark.

If I find its really necessary, I'll just screw a cup hook into the desk somewhere, and dangle it from there.
(The desk isn't precious, so I won't get into trouble.  :D)

When using the flexible shaft (their name, not mine) I hang the Dremel itself from the drill stand.  Just stops the Dremel skittering away.

I've got to get me one of them things!
Does anyone know if the micro drill has sufficient torque to drive the thing?

Bill.....

Although there aren't SO many........Too many of the complete OIKS here, on the forum, know my daft addy in Wales....And ship things to me, via those nice people at Amazon UK. (Which is very, very kind.)

As far as I can tell......Though I still haven't used it in anger yet. (I've only had the flexishaft for a short while at the moment.) There should be enough torque for most uses at small scales.

Can't stay too long....Von....(Mrs Techno).....Is suffering from food poisoning, or gall bladder problems, today.

No rest for the wicked.  :P

Oh no!
Take care of her, then.  Hope she recovers quickly.

Thanks, Bill.
